The current President of the UK Supreme Court is to deliver a lecture in Glasgow in memory of one of his former colleagues, on the constitutional role of the court in relation to devolution.

Lord Neuberger is this year's guest speaker at the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow's biennial Lord Rodger Memorial Lecture, on the evening of Friday 14 October. His title is "The Constitutional Role of the Supreme Court in the Context of Devolution in the UK".

The lecture will be given in St George's Tron church, Nelson Mandela Place from 5.45-6.45pm and will be followed by a reception in the Royal Faculty Hall.

Support from the Clark Foundation for Legal Education and from Cloch Solicitors has enabled the Royal Faculty to make the event free of charge.
