The Judicial Appointments Board for Scotland has published its annual report for 2017-18.
It includes data on applicants in the six appointment rounds during the year – four for tribunal positions, one for sheriffs and one for summary sheriffs.
It also records the work of its Quality Assurance Group which considers process improvements and best practice; recommendations included involvement of interviewers at an earlier stage in the tribunal appointments process.
