Following the Society's decision to appoint Lockton in place of Marsh as the administrators and brokers to the Master Policy for professional indemnity insurance, the Journal received a letter from David Adie of Adie Hunter, Glasgow questioning the decision and its implications. We requested a response from the Society and received a lengthy statement which is reproduced, along with Mr Adie's concerns, as part of the June 2016 Journal.
