As a criminal court practitioner who has spent many a long afternoon in the sheriff court, waiting for the procurator fiscal’s computer to talk to the sheriff clerk’s, I can only assume that the article about digitisation of court proceedings (Journal, March, 12) was premature and intended for your April edition.
