Agenda

Items for discussion will include the following:

  1. New practice rules to implement the fourth Anti-Money Laundering Directive.
  2. Changes to the Incidental Financial Business Practice Rules to implement the Insurance Distribution Directive.

Voting

Voting in advance of the meeting is available for those who are unable to attend. 
Such advance voting applies to all resolutions except for ones relating to an amendment to the Constitution. The voting options are “for”, “against” and “abstain”.

It is no longer competent at a General Meeting to demand a poll vote or to vote by proxy except in relation a “constitutional resolution”. Advance voting on any “constitutional resolution” is not competent .The provisions on proxy voting and a poll at an AGM on this type of “constitutional resolution” remain in place.  Please note that there are no no planned constitutional resolutions for this SGM.

The electronic voting period will run from 12 noon on 15 January to 12 noon on 24 January.
