The Limitation (Childhood Abuse) (Scotland) Act 2017 came into force in October 2017 lifting the three year time limit in reparation actions arising from childhood abuse. Join leading experts on Monday 5 March to explore the impact of Scotland’s new Act.
The programme will identify the key technical, procedural and evidential practice changes, and examine the specialist client care knowledge required to understand the issues and respond sensitively. Guidance and perspectives for both those representing the pursuer and the defender when assessing and advising on cases will be provided and the seminar will also feature discussion of record recovery issues applicable to both pursuers’ and defenders’ enquiries.
5 hours verifiable CPD
