Alison Atack and Law Society colleague Paul Mosson are coming to see you. We will also be joined by special guest Sarah Deas from Scottish Enterprise.

This meeting will provide an opportunity to find out more about the Law Society’s key areas of work and will cover the legal services review, Lawscot Wellbeing, legal aid, and the profile of the profession research amongst other topics.

Sarah will provide a helpful introduction to employee owned business structures. Most importantly, there will be the opportunity for you to ask questions or discuss issues affecting you and your business or organisation during the Q&A session. Should you have any issues you wish to raise in advance of the meeting please email [email protected].

Paul started working for the Law Society of Scotland in November 2017. Most recently he set up as a consultant and has been working with Mills Rendall & Associates on strategy development for, among others, the Birmingham Law Society and on a leadership programme.

If you require a Law Society Smartcard or need to renew your existing card, Katie McKenna  & Beth Anderson will be offering that service on the day. There is more information about using your smartcard on the Society’s website. Please email [email protected] to set up a Smartcard appointment during the visit or if you have any further queries.

For new members who wish to be sworn in as a Notary Public while we in town, please contact [email protected] in advance to arrange this.
