Event summary
Our career development roadshows are local events run specifically for newly qualified solicitors (0-5 years PQE) who are looking to progress their career.

There are lots of questions to consider when you're thinking about carving out your career. What direction do you want to progress in? Do you know where you want to go? Do you know how you're going to get there? Are you familiar with what your options are?

Our roadshows are free of charge to attend. Sign up if you are keen to hear more about:

  • the partnership route
  • becoming an accredited specialist
  • qualifying as a solicitor advocate
  • working abroad
  • taking on additional responsibilities in the workplace
When is your local event?

  • Arrive, help yourself to a drink and chat to your fellow NQs.

  • Get to know your fellow colleagues during the structured networking part of the event. Our speakers will lead some small, informal group discussions about your career path so far and your personal career aspirations. It can be really interesting to hear about other people's stories and experiences.

  • Your opportunity to ask questions to our panellists, who will have a wide range of experience between them. Every panellist will have gone down a different path and we will be able to tell a different story about their career development.

  • Have some time to have another informal drink with your colleagues. Additionally, this is a great time to have chance to speak 1:1 with our speakers if you didn't want to, or didn't get the chance to, ask more personal questions during the panel session.
