Our members based outside Scotland are a significant part of the Scottish legal profession and play an important role in the UK legal sector, bringing a wide variety of knowledge and experience. They are based in many cities in England and Wales including London, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester and Birmingham.

We have a large number of members working in private practice, in-house, and as registered foreign lawyers.

Whilst it is certainly rewarding and interesting to work in another jurisdiction there are inevitably differences and opportunities which our members encounter including the option of dual qualifying and regulation by another body.
