First, the committee would like to thank all our members for their support during 2018 and we wish you all the best for the coming year.
We have now turned our attention to the 2019 conferences. Arrangements are well underway for the main conference in April, and following the success of the autumn conference in Dundee, we have decided to repeat this event in 2019. Check our website and watch our newsletters for details during the next few months.
At the conferences, we strive to bring speakers who will be of interest to all our members. However, if you feel there is an area we have not covered and would like us to try to cover at either conference, please get in touch.
We hope to make the Dundee conference available to view on our website in the near future to anyone who was unable to attend. You will be able to choose which topics you would like to see, at a minimal cost, and to record CPD for any topics you purchase.
During 2019 we will also host further Meet & Greet CPD events, so again please check the website and newsletters for details. If you think there would be takeup for a session in your area of the country, please let us know.

Happy new year reminders
As we open up our fresh new diaries, just a couple of reminders to help you gear up for the 2019-20 practice year. First, take a look at your CPD balance and make sure you are all up to date and on target to meet your 10-hour requirement in time for 1 February renewal. That brings me neatly to my second and “final reminder” – much friendlier than it sounds. Renewal starts on 1 February. You will receive an email and invoice from us reminding you of what you need to do on 1 February, but if you have made a move or if any of your details have changed, please make sure we know, otherwise you will not receive your invoice or be able to renew.
