This year, the company is celebrating 35 years in business, marking it out as one of Scotland’s oldest independent firms of auctioneers and valuers.

Nick Burns, Managing Director, has unearthed some remarkable lots to date that include:

a Chinese blue-and-white mark and period porcelain vase from the reign of Emperor Daoguang, 1821-1850, which sold for £55,000;
a collection of six oil paintings by Scottish artist John Maclauchlan Milne RSA (1886-1957), which sold for £90,000;
and an important collection of 10 Indian Company School watercolours, circa 1800, which sold for in excess of £100,000.
