Two new areas of work have been added to the Society's Registered Paralegal Scheme

Additional areas of work have been added to the Society’s Registered Paralegal Scheme. The decision by the Registered Paralegal Standing Committee will allow members of the scheme to train, and then practise, in the areas, known as legal domains, of company secretarial, and repossession litigation.

Paralegals can apply on the Society’s website to register in the new domains.

Set up in 2010, the Registered Paralegal Scheme provides a defined professional status and career path for paralegals. Members train in general paralegal work as well as specific domains.
