Council to give further consideration to report recommendations

A review of support and representation of the 2,500 in-house lawyers will be considered by a working group headed by Council member David Newton.

Council decided at its March meeting that more detailed consideration was needed before it could decide on the 11 recommendations put to it, following an independent review of the work done by the Society and the In-house Lawyers Group (ILG) committee, jointly and separately, to represent and support in-house members.

Particular discussion will take place on the role of the ILG committee within the Society.

The review can be accessed through the in-house section of the Society’s website.
