According to The Centre for Creative Leadership (one of the top five executive education bodies in the world) the primary cause for career derailment amongst senior executives is lack of Emotional Intelligence. Decades of research have also revealed that Emotional Intelligence is the reason why people with average IQs outperform those with the highest IQs 70% of the time. Further studies of 500 organisations worldwide indicated that people who score the highest in Emotional Intelligence measures are more likely to be star performers and rise to the top of an organisation.
