Lawscot trainee roadshow - Dundee 2019

If you have either just started, or are due to start your traineeship soon, there's a lot you need to get your head around. We have been running our roadshow events for the last three years in order to help trainees get to grips with the necessary regulation and provide an opportunity to meet other trainees in your area.

These events are designed to be very laid back with drinks provided, so you can network before and after the more formal part of the event, which will include a presentation from our Head of Admissions and a Q&A session with our panel.

There are no 'stupid questions' that you can ask during the Q&A and we want it to act as an open forum. We invite you to bring your queries about anything from regulation to trainee networks and how NQ recruitment works during the second year of your traineeship. The panel will include an experienced an experienced supervising solicitor who has looked after many trainees and will be able to provide a wealth of advice about how to succeed in the workplace. A recently qualified NQ will also be on hand to share their experiences and recommend how you can best navigate your two years as a trainee.

To give you the best possible opportunity to attend wherever you are, we're bringing our roadshow to four main cities.

Not able to attend Dundee? You are welcome to attend any of our other roadshows, regardless of where you work or live.

• Edinburgh - Thursday 17th October
