Katie McKenna joined us as the Head of High Street Member Engagement in January 2018, taking over from Laura Malcolm.
Katie’s role involves working with sole practitioners across Scotland, organising regular CPD seminars for the group and working with local faculties. She also runs the dedicated LinkedIn group page for sole practitioners and can be found on Twitter @HighStreetLSS.
Katie is a solicitor who trained at McClure Naismith in 2008. Following her traineeship, she spent some time working in-house and went on to gain years of experience working with high street firms and local faculties during her time with the referral networks operated by Harper Macleod LLP and Digby Brown LLP.
She is also a council member of the Royal Faculty of Procurators in Glasgow and an elected member of the Dennistoun Community Council.
Katie enjoys Yoga and is currently studying Spanish at Strathclyde University.
